2026 Open Events

We warmly welcome all prospective students and their whānau to attend our various open events. Our open events are an opportunity to meet key members of staff and learn more about our school. We encourage prospective students to attend our open events within two years of their proposed entry date.

2026 Country Visits - 3rd - 6th May

Come along to meet with our Principal, Co-Director of Boarding, Robyn McGarry and some of our boarding students at a location convenient to you.

Oamaru - Sunday 3rd May, Ranfurly & Wanaka - Monday 4th May, Arrowtown - Tuesday 5th May, Waikaka & Balclutha - Wednesday 6th May 

2026 Boarders' Open Day - Thursday, 14th May (Boarding applications close 12 noon, 27th May)

2026 Day Student Open Evening - Thursday, 23rd July (Day Student applications close 12 noon, 13th August)

If you are unable to make any of the open events, you are welcome to contact us to see if there is availability to visit the school and/or Tolcarne for a private tour.

The Principal, Jackie Barron, is available by appointment to meet with prospective students to discuss any queries regarding enrolment at St Hilda's in 2026. This is not a mandatory part of the application process, it is optional, and an invitation to all prospective families.
